Born in California, raised in New Jersey, and now living/working in New York City, I have always sought to explore the space between History, Literature, and Performance; to live in that space and use it to better understand the present. Employing relational aesthetics, I push against the predigested obsolescence and nostalgia abundant in contemporary theatre-making. I was a founder and collaborator of the Philly-based theatre collective Homunculus Inc., a long-time company member of Theater Reconstruction Ensemble here in NY, and during the COVID-19 pandemic made absurdist audiodramas online with Theatre of the Electric Mouth. I continue to make work that challenges me and hope that I can live with that luxury for a long long time.
